Attività 1:
1. Daniela è andata in vacanza l'estate scorsa in agosto. Lei è andata con tre compagni di scuola.
2. Daniela ha lavorato a un negozio di abbigliamento per guadagnare un po' di soldi.
3. Loro sono andati in Francia, Spagna e Portogallo. Hanno dormito negli ostelli della gioventù o in campeggio, e qualche volta hanno dormito sul treno.
4. Gli aspetti positivi di questo viaggio sono stati che hanno visitato tanti posti differenti, come Parigi, e hanno incontrato tanti altri giovani di tutte le parte del mondo.

Attività 2:
1. Marco è partito per il suo viaggio a settembre dell'anno scorso.
2. Marco ha attraversato dodici Paesi, non incluso dell'Italia e l'Australia.
3. The modes of transport that Marco used are: train; ferry; pick-up truck or ute; bus; and occasional rides/lifts/hitch hiking.
4. Durante il viaggio Marco ha lavorato come cameriere e ha venduto le magliette.
5. Secondo Marco viaggiare era un sogno. Lui scrive che ognuno deve correre dietro ai suoi sogni, e lui ha fatto così prima di cominciare i suoi studi.

Attività 3:

1. Gianpaolo went to a tourist/holiday village 50 kms from Toronto with his family (his wife and twins).
2. During the day Gianpaolo hired a boat and went fishing, his favourite pastime. His wife spent her days sunbathing and swimming. The twins, who are very sporty, played tennis and water skied or windsurfed on the lake.
3. In the evening everyone ate dinner together, then Gianpaolo and his wife read, played cards or went for a walk. On the contrary, the twins went dancing or watched television.
4. The weather was beautiful but not too hot.

Attività 4:
1. Mickey Mouse bought a fax machine, to send faxes to people.
2. Mickey sent the faxes to the wrong people. He sent Minnie's fax to Mortimer, saying I can't live without you, and therefore Mortimer's to Minnie, saying you smell and I won't put up with you anymore.
3. Mickey tries to fix his mistake by retrieving the fax from Minnie before she reads it.
4. Minnie's answering machine says "Hi, you're talking to Minnie. I can't respond now, I'm not a home. Leave a message."
5. "Ti serve un passaggio" means "could you use a ride."
6. Mickey gets kicked out of the car because he tells Mortimer the fax wasn't for him.
7. The policeman says "Mickey Mouse steals the handbag or his fiancee, I've never heard something so stupid."
8. Mickey doesn't get in trouble with Minnie because she didn't receive the fax meant for Mortimer. The fax she got was from Daisy.
